Bettie stated in later interviews that she didn't know that it was so sexual in nature and that she was just a "good christian girl". I call bullshit Bettie, u knew exactly what u were doing and u did it well.

See the film The Notorious Bettie Page. Very interesting! She was a complex person, many sides to her. A devout Christian but she did nudity and bondage (soft porn). She reconciled the two sides in her mind, because they were both expressions of freedom and happiness for her. She was a private person, a recluse, but also an exhibitionist. Someone loved by millions, but also very alone at the same time. But she had humour, which her interviews reveal.
