O vídeo é resultado de uma ação executada ao vivo, intitulada #TempoRealMoveisMtv.
Dia 27 de março é o Dia do Grafite no Brasil. Então, a banda convidou o público para participar da ação da seguinte forma: as pessoas "twittariam" a tag #TempoRealMoveisMtv durante a transmissão em streaming no portal da MTV e os artistas pintariam seus Nicks no vidro.
Durante a transmissão, a banda executou uma estranha coreografia atrás do vidro. Ao final da transmissão, o Móveis revelou a surpresa: o público tinha assistido, em tempo real, o vídeo inteiro da música, só que executado 4x (e no final, 8x) mais lento. Ao atualizar a página, o público viu a sequência acelerada: o vídeo oficial de "O Tempo".

The song is about people who live in a contant TimeLapse. so, we decided to make a TimeLapse video, broadcasted in real time.

March 27 is the Graffiti Day in Brazil. We invited the band fans to participate in a live project with Graffiti Artists. The fans should tweet the tag #TempoRealMoveisMtv during the transmission and the artists would paint their nick names in the wall.

During the transmission, the band acted a strange choreography in the back of the scene. At the end of the transmission, the band revealed the surprise: The audience had watched in real time the entire music video, acted by the band 4 times slower.
