Traveled to Alantic City New Jersey recently to visit a friend and fellow metal dectector, Brian Mayer AKA Surfdigger. While there I met several Pro Hunters and seen several of there great Gold & Silver Finds...Amazing... and picking up a some great tips on detecting from Brian. Who has 34 Years Experience detecting the Jersey Shores & Maintains the facebook page "Jersey Shore Beach and Surf Hunters metal detecting". HH Obn

Very informative. I get to hunt the Jersey beaches 2-3 times a year...can't wait for summer! Come on, beach goers, bring the bling!

I have a question as a newbie. I see everyone using dive boots. Don't they get sand and water in them at the top? Thanks!
