Richard Gere is very articulate, and it's great to hear from him. HH the Dalai Lama's response to China has been an amazing and profound teaching, and display of principles. Setting himself, and his people and his country as a template for non-violence, not settling for the endless karmic quick fix badminton of an eye-for-an-eye, in order to catalyze a political recognition of mutual benefit, interdependence...he humbles and inspires us!
