The pianist hurt you, honestly. Try to avoid having them tap out a main melody if you have a unique voice, which you do. You have a lovely voice. The end was rough, not gonna lie, but I think nerves might have been part of the issue. I do like your voice, though.

@WaxxbutterfliesXX I realize that this video is old(er) now, but I couldn't help saying that although new vocalists shouldn't be wannabes, it certainly does help to try to develop or apply the principals behind various singers' voices, as it helps one discover one's "own voice" and it broadens horizons and vocal capabilities.
I don't think you were necessarily singing through your nose... You just needed to develop lows to balance your highs. I'm sure you've worked on this over the years, no?

i think before you post anything on the internet that is open to other people's opinions, you need to learn a little humility. a large part of posting yourself up on youtube is receiving feedback with understanding and maturity, and you are doing neither. although i--and probably other people, too--appreciate that you "know when you make mistakes," you sound downright uppity with the way you say it, and that makes people want to target you.
i think your voice is okay, but yes, it needs work.

ur voice is like snow white so soft and cheerpy (if that's even a word) what i'm trying to say is that was wonderful

you have a beautiful voice...it just needs more work
it's a hard song ...believe me i know...i've chosen to sing this song on my exam
and to be honest the piano sounded a little out of tune in the beginning and not you

why the haters??
damn girl, your dress is soooo cute! and your voice is stunning! the music recording sounds crappy on youtube, prolly the internets fault, but your voice is absolutely angelic!

a) That's rude. And crass.
b) Learn how to spell.
c) It's Christine, not Kristii.
d) It's Phantom, not Faton.

theres no point in mentioning the faults in this performance, you know what they are. what i dont understand is why you would put this on youtube when in the video you covered your face and walked off when you finished singing, why subject yourself to what people will comment?
Your dress is too tight. Part of performance is being aware of your body.

I'm obviously aware of what I'm wearing, and obviously my voice teacher approved it. Part of giving criticism is knowing what you're saying.

I have to say that at first I agreed with many of your commenters that this isn't your best song. but it seems like you relax towards the middle and the tone definitely improves. I think you have more of a broadway style than opera (which makes sense since this is a broadway song, we're just used to hearing it in an operatic voice), and I'd love to be a fly on the wall when you practice because I'm sure you sound great! every singer improves with age and practice--all my warmest wishes for you!

You don't compare. You won't get anywhere if you copy other's voices.
