The new version of Ovi Maps is a new free GPS navigation service Navteq based with new integrated services. You can download and use all the maps you want without paying anything! The software is now compatible with about 10 new Nokia smartphone, but future Nokia products will integrate it by default.

It's free everywhere, I use it a lot at home here in England, but when I used the walk navigation in Spain it charged me and apparently it's free everywhere because even in your home country it pre-loads maps eg. in Spain.

ovi maps are brilliant! i use them all the time. because the maps are pre-loaded the address and route finding is super-quick as there is no need to make a web connection. they work like a true satnav, only needing to get a satellite fix. this is a genius stroke played by nokia to offer this high-end quality satnav for free. top marks to nokia!!
