  • Further note, this property will have around $500,000 worth of new double brick dwellings on it.... It will be like a resort in this area not the initial granny flat scenario aswell.

Plans are lodged at present and awaiting approval from council.

  • Thanks for the comment, and your first post.

This all needs to go through council, however the streetscape will be in line with comparable properties within the area and neighbours will be consulted and any questions as per usual can be posted. It will change the streetscape from an old delapidated house into a nice cosmopolitain fresh feel.

I have personaly spoken to a few of the local residents and they seem quiet excited about the upgrades to the property.

  • As a neighbouring house owner I think it is great that you are going to renovate the original house. Although I am worried that "dumping" a prefab mobile house into the currently listed heritage area wont be appropriate. Not only that it will block the solar sustainability to neighbouring houses and backyards. Filling the block with rental houses/mobile homes etc for rental purposes only will not benefit the existing owners quite and gorgeous street scape existence that we currently live in.

  • Have you contacted the surrounding property owners to see how they feel about your proposed redevelopment, or do you think it doesn't matter how other owners feel about you changing the street scape.
