OK based on the Predator's beliefs, they would respect Batman for being able to defeat one of their own. They wouldn't try to attack him. And why did Batman automatically go after the Predator when he just saved him from the Alien??

1. The predators at the end never attack him. They are lining up against the aliens. The ensuing battle would probably be one with a confused Batman in the middle of a brawl. After it is done, the strongest Predator would probably challenge him one-on-one. Then Batman would truly gain their respect, as that first Predator was probably only recently blooded.

2. Batman doesn't recognize these creatures as we do, as Aliens and Predators. Some crazy humanoid just attacked him, and another has a cannon aimed at his head. He doesn't know for sure if this the one on the roof(Predator) intentionally killed the one attacking him(Alien). He took the cannon out as a precaution. Good move. The Predator then initiated the fight.
