The city of 7 hills is Rome where The Vatican Hill was (place where Chief Apostle Peter was crucified according to history). John himself was engulfed in hot oil but since nothing happened to him the Romans sent him to Patmos. (according to history not the Bible)

We need to teach them to prevent them to be swallowed by that majority high hierarchy. I am sure that GOD has in place a small minority among them to help in such task as well as GOD always works in mysterious ways.

We will know the Antichrist after USA/NATO place troops in Palestine, first Gaza, then West Bank which is Judah as Jesus told us in Mat 24 & Luke 21. Once the Antichrist seat @ the 3rd Temple then we will know that whoever is the Pope during that time then he will be the False Prophet. They shall have power to make fire come down from the sky but both must be present as anode & cathode They will defeat the saints for awhile
