This is very cool! I am planning to do something like this with a fixed-wing R/C for aerial HD video, probably using a large electric-powered sailplane, since gliding is where most of my experience is. Should be a blast! =)

@iibw Thanks for the heads up, I did some research and called a couple people that I know in Denver that are with the FFA and they confirmed your info! Luckily I no longer do this commercially and I do it just for fun now, so I should be ok! Thanks again!

Flying a RC helicam for promo/business purposes is illegal in US airspace, according to the FAA. Violators can be fined up to $10K per day! That is why there isn't anyone advertising their services online, they received cease/desist orders by the FAA to pull their websites and videos.
