...possibly a shift towards better quality movies for and or about Black life, experiences with truthful scripts, characters who feel real and fleshed out with quality film stock, etc. And not the stereotypical nonsense we've been getting for the last umpteen years.

What I find intriguing about this, is that it's a normal indie film.. starring a mostly all-black cast?

My mind has been blown because it's something I always think about, but never actually see.

And holy heck, it especially doesn't use any "urban" music in its trailer.

Could this possibly be a sign of cultural progression in film?

I should definitely hope so.
