No matter how you slice it Matthew 16:18 Jesus said, ...upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Church and it signify one. So if one person choose to tell it straight up--no worries because the Lord adds to the church daily such as should be saved and if one person do like it when it is said one way, he or she may like it when it is said another way ( as long as the truth is said) Let's abide in love

The church of Christ and the church of God is the same thing, there are many church of God with the same doctrine as the church of Christ, they are church of Christ but chose to use the name church of God,, some also call them selves The Church, as Christ did. Any church can use the names that the Paul describes them as, even The Church of the brethren, dont get to caught up in the name Christ, It is only a Title, it is Greek, and inter-translated. Jesus real name is Yahushua bar Yahweh Elohim
