Canon 7D unboxing

I bought the camera from Adorama Camera in New York. I chose the lens because I really need a wide angle to capture everything!

OK, I went to Disney this weekend and saw that many people had DSLR's. Mainly Canon 7D and 50d. I want to be able to take out a camera and click and be satisfied with the picture while also having freedom to customize controls. What Im trying to say is I dont mind spending money more on the 7D but is it SUCH a big upgrade from the 50D? And obviously the 7D is better than 50D but by a lot that will make a difference? If I were to buy both 7D and 50D (which I wont) which one would some1 wana keep?

I think overall, your getting a DSLR with a APS-C senor. You just cant beat the performance and quality of a full or APS-H frame sensor. The big features with the 7D is the AF points, FramesPerSecond, Dual D!GIC 4 Processors, and video recording. If I had the 50D, it wouldn't be a big update because it has a lot of the same problems like the 50D's overkill on the mega-pixels. Also the noise level can be improved BIG time. Overall the camera is being over publicized.

I read online that the 18mp sensor isnt good because it tends to overdo noise. is this true? and Idk why but I couldnt stop watching this video lol maybe cause the music?

Up in the 3200, you can really see the noise. Compare that to a 5D, the noise is just horrible. It isn't as bad as the 50D.

No, the right side of the camera, where the 7D logo is, is less wide than the 5D. The 5D is really a brick where the 7D has a curved side to it (the right side.)

omg troyy. ok first, i have to say...i LOVED the song choice!! haha and wow thats a big box. second...I LOVEEED HOW YUU MADE IT SLOW MO WHILE YUU TOOK IT OUTTA THE BOX! AMAZINGG!!!! haha and its funny how yuu had technicall difficulties putting the battery in. but wow that is a fcken nice camera!!! ughh i dont think mines is half as nice. but you'll see tomorrow!! :D
