Try watching the version of Master Bonner - as good as McKeller in a different way - surely the purest boy soprano voice ever. A superb song which never fails to send goosebumps down my spine

One of the best renditions of this song that I can recall almost matching the great John McCormack.

It's great to hear a beautiful song performed so perfectly. Of course Kenneth will always be a legend and will always be remembered by me and many of my friends
and collegues. I also concur with my namesake Martin O'Rourke.s sentiments.
I just love listening to his songs. we do not hear them often enough on the media.

Absolutely sublime. Somehow the Scottish accent and flawless diction make a perfect piece even better.

The first LP I bought in the 70's contained K McK singing Handel's Largo . In the intervening 40 years or so I've yet to hear it sung better. I was accidentally introduced to one of the greatest singers I have ever heard. May I also second the sentiments of my fellow Gael oroukemarty.
