always amazes me how eager people are to defend cops shooting people... 70 shots fired? First of all, if you cant put him down in 5 you shouldnt be on a SWAT team in the first place (but thats beside the point), Pima County Sheriffs sound like a bunch of over eager goons. Second, over an hour to get medical in there? NO EXCUSE. Another Sad example that Arizona cops are above the law. Enjoy the police state.

Why is it our military can't fire on terrorists unless they are shot at first but our police force can shoot American civilians just for having a gun? Then they let him die? Our military works like hell to keep wounded Enemies alive. F*** the police.

As a former soldier, this looks justified. They had sirens indicating the police were there, they announced themselves, he was a decorated marine who is taught to kill and survive. Just because his safety was on doesn't mean he didn't have the intentions of firing. Ask any soldier if they're in the situation where they are conducting a raid and they come across an armed man, 95 percent of the time that's going to end with someone shot.
