Tebori, or hand poking, is the traditional Japanese style of tattooing. MMA fighter Koutetsu Boku recently got a spider web tattooed on his elbow using a combination of electric and hand poking tattoo methods. Location: Tattoo Soul in Ikebukuro (Tokyo, Japan).

I saw a documentary about Tebori. It is a true and very beautiful art. Most great artists are in their 40s-50s because it takes a long time to achieve the skills of making your own ink and creating these gorgeous tattoos.
