Pete Carroll's comments on what Garrett Green means to the USC Football family, and the unfortunate circumstances of him suffering an ACL tear in Saturday's game against UCLA.
Reading an article about him a while back, Green says that although he never got much playing time, he wouldnt hesitate to do it again, he loves usc and loves being there apart of the team. most players would complian and grow to hate usc for not starting him, but not Green, hardest worker and a player im going to be sad to see go, hope he succeeds in the NFL cause he deserves it
Garrett has been an MVP for USC the whole time he's been here. I hope the guys rally around him and all the other seniors on Saturday and give them a great going away present. I hope to see Garrett in the NFL next year. He wont be a high pick but he is one of the hardest workers around. Even if he doesn't, he's the kind of guy that would succeed in whatever he does, just like he has succeeded at whatever position USC has had him play in. Thanks Garrett for all you've done and get better soon.
