DOCTOR WHO - A NEW RANI

Recently , i made a Video called Doctor Who - a new Romana , in which i suggested American Actress Amber Benson [ Tara from Buffy the Vampire Slayer ] for the role of Romana .

Since then , i was left with a problem . . . . who could play the RANI ???? .

At long last , ive finally come up with a good choice . . . . TERRY FARRELL !!!!!!!!! .

Terry is well known back in the 1990's as Jadzia Dax in the second Star Trek Spin Off , Deep Space Nine . She looks to me like a younger version of Kate O' Mara , the original Rani herself [ yet i get the feeling many will disagree with me ! ] .

This one is easy. What traits should an actress exude to portray the Rani: cold arrogance, smoldering sensuality, vast intellect and an undercurrent of violent cruelty. Who best displays these traits whenever she gives a sinister performance: Eva Green.

I'm not sure why an accent would be a problem if she had regenerated...the Doctor's accent has changed repeatedly....just cus it's originally an English show should not limit Gallifreyan regen possibilities. It should embody what Star Trek termed IDIC...Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.

@aflowerfairymom True, Sylvester McCoy is Scottish while all the others are English [ well, David Tennant is also Scottish, but he hid it with an English accent ].

@doctorwhoone okay. I don't really know her name but she has a nice British accent and dark hair and she already plays a clever but somewhat questionable science minded lady so she has that covered. I'm sure if you do a google search for Wearehouse 13 and Wells. The weird thing is, in their world, she is THE HG Wells (the man everyone knows by that name was her idiot brother acting as a front). She was frozen and is alive today.
