Hope you guys like the video, I put a fair amount of work in to it.

I WILL do standard, full length matches when it comes to Call of Duty and Gears of War, but when it comes to Battlefield, expect important clips only. I like to maximize people's time watching a video and fill it with information they can actually use.

  • Lol, random hater gave the video its first dislike as soon as I linked it on GameFAQs. Site has gone to such shit over the years.

  • LOL @ beacon scene. They deserved it. In my opinion, the beacon isn't for the purpose of spawn killing as most people are seen using it for. IMO, If you work your way behind the enemy spawn, then you've obviously earned it. Don't abuse the game's equipment to do that for you, just because it can. I feel the beacon's supposed to be used to help you in overwatch of areas receiving high enemy traffic. Basically, to help you retain that flanking or ambushing position. Am i right or wrong?

  • @dre1507 That would be the most practical use for the beacon. It's phenomenal for Rush, allowing your squad to clear out, say, A2 on Metro and then spawn behind the trains right outside the door, rush back in, finish the stragglers and plant. On defense, you're a lot better off planting it in areas you don't want the enemy to set up in. As much as I'd love to be on this game on release, I'm not going to be able to because my wife's sister is having surgery and I won't touch BF3 till the 26-27th.

  • Are you new at video game commentaries? I like the style of your FPS commentaries so far, especially the use of actual military terms and their explanations. It gives a more real-world and tactical approach that other commentators don't provide. Hope you decide to continue making these, especially for Battlefield 3.

  • @banyah87 Videos like these apply themselves even better to the Battlefield 3 environment. I had another channel, Steveracity, but gave it up after I felt like it was going nowhere. So I started all over after a lengthy break, and this channel seems to be doing better as far as active subscribers and total subscribers. I used my last channel to iron out the mistakes, and I feel my video quality and presentation is where I really want it to be now. I will be ALL OVER Battlefield 3 when it hits.

  • How to be good at a FPS... Use actually military tactics.

  • When you said that if you would have pied the corner (Mw2 clip) you would have had two kills, is pieing a corner where you do a wide circular movement around a corner giving a more effective line of sight?

  • Never mind, old video.

  • I'm glad you mentioned pieing corners. I think people would benefit from a video discussing pieing corners correctly in more detail.

I also wouldn't mind seeing some videos with some better examples of bounding overwatch, but I know that's tough without at least one buddy. I do this naturally in my gameplay, but wouldn't mind seeing some others follow suit.

  • @Gravity81688: Family's definitely more important, so of course that comes first. See ya when ya get on the battlefield!

  • You just earned yourself a Sub.
