Amazing Optical Illusions Compilation

The best parts of some of my featured Illusions. At 1:19 there are 4 shades of blue going from lightest to darkest (left to right). If the transition point between the shades is covered, our eyes and brains can't process the difference between neighboring shades. We see them as the exact same shade even though they are different. Enjoy!

How did you make the one at 1:29 ?

@lanebaguss14 I drew it w/ pencil and then painted it on the back of a leftover piece of vinyl flooring. I mounted my video camera on a tripod and used its lcd screen to come up with dimensions for the cube. It's anamorphic so that meant a lot of trial and error while drawing it (walking back and forth from the camera to the vinyl and making tons of adjustments until it looked like a perfect 3D cube from that viewing angle). It looks completely different in real life of course.

All the diamonds are the same, they have a gradient from light grey at the top to dark grey at the bottom. Look closely. That is why it makes it look like the row of diamonds below is lighter, because it is below the dark half of the ones above.
