I think that he did it mostly for fun. Only an idiot would trust that it's possible. The scene of nuclear blast is something classic.
There are no falls in Amazon forest nor roads, you need to take boats. It's funny how no one in Soviet Army can hit a target, at such kind of movies. Mostly like the 007 style.

Stupid american propaganda movie. Steven Spielberg use to make great movies. But this movie I just hate and dislike.
