Holy crap, that's me at the 4:48 mark! I thought this video was lost forever! Now that I see my haircut, I kind of wish it WAS lost forever.

What does that have to do with anything?
Very funny how they trash the Mega CD using this game, and it turned out that this was also released for the Mega CD afterwards. Great owned LoL.

I think that this is one of the main reasons why Genesis-fanatics are quick to trash the generally considered inferior Sega-CD port as a poor job, when in fact it's an amazing conversion.
Since it was a showcase for the Duo, they don't want to admit that the graphics can't be replicated on Sega-CD.

It's a good conversion but the colors suffer (the Turbo could handle more), as bigolebadassbob explained. NEC was banking on this game to win over a lot of the Sega crowd, which of course didn't play out to their expectations. Sad. The PCE-CD was packed with software inc. Dracula X which NEC was insane for not distributing on US shores. Instead, they were pushing crap like Impossamole and Air Zonk which was a severe letdown. Too bad because they could've been competition.

I've heard that Konami never let anyone else publish their games anywhere back then so NEC/TTI never had a chance to bring them over.
That still left plently of amazing NEC and Hudson games though...
