Kissing (Inside)

This video is part of a video installation called "Kissing". This is part one, the other part is titled 'Kissing (Outside)' which will be a film with impressions of red lips appearing on a white background. That will be projected on a participants back while they are covered in a sheet, wearing headphones, and viewing the above video in darkness while the audience sees only the 'Kissing (Outside)' film.

It is a thematic continuation of "Kissed" a short film from about two years ago which you can find in my channel listings.

I made the soundtrack as well mixing sound effects.

The piece is about how people, images, and life in general touch or 'kiss' you in ways you can't control. While in 'Kissed' I was the one being kissed, here I am doing the kissing :)

(This piece was not consciously influenced by Jean-Luc Godard but in retrospect I'd say it is. Very much so.)

Oh, and it's meant to be funny. It's also meant to be serious. It's a dramady.
