@brian2kathleen Mike Mead and Wade Jaynes played on Steve Taylor's Squint album too. They were great in concert.

Awesome song. Deserved to be much bigger than it was. Of course, that's true for a lot of Steve Taylor's stuff -- but especially this song.

The second half of this song, beginning with "I stay driven 'cos there's nowhere to park" and lasting until the end are my favorite lyrical moments in music regardless of genre. Absolutely and hauntingly inspired.

Wow. Looks like Mike Mead and Wade Jaynes from Chagall Guevera tagged along. Chagall was literally the best band you never heard. I met them when they were just putting it together, back in 1989/90, and was lucky enough to help with setup a couple of times. They were all cool guys, and God knows, really, they rocked. I've still got the demo they gave me before their album came out. It has 3 songs, including "Murder In The Big House" and "Tale 0' The Twister." Still influences my music today.
