@four4vizslas You have a false sense of security. I knew a dangerous sociopath and he did not have a prison record. He was a sick and dangerous person. You keep thinking that because a person has done prison time they are automatically bad. If anything I would be concerned about stability but at the same time I go by character.

I am sorry but some of the people in there are VERY DANGEROUS. I had a neighbor a few years back who's two children were each in PA prisons. You can check their record on-line. It was not until he got a bunch of booze did I hear that he made the rounds of three PA State Hospitals. I was so happy when they moved from non-payment of rent. I did not want to live next to somone that had been in and out of 5 prisons over 26-years AND 3 State Hospitals (you have to be VERY mentally ill to get IN)

the inmates face stress, brutal beatings, degradation, confinment and humiliation from higher level inmates and corrections officers, and maybe they deserve to be there and maybe not. and it definately is survival of the fittest, but the corrections officers health at some point in their lives will break down too. nobody has a free ride.
