  • Be aware that during the mid summer months you will lose about 1 to 1 1/2 hours of morning and afternoon sun (which is low output time anyway) because the fence will shade the panels. In my case this was a convenient place to put them and the afternoons were also shaded in winter anyway so the loss was minimal.

  • Clever idea. I love it. I have one video on how to optimize the tilt angle you might enjoy. It might be nice to use this same idea on the lower part of the panel as well so both ends are secure, or a second sliding brace from the same vertical strut perhaps.
