  • Tone Loc stole the riffs from several songs including Van Halen's "Jamie's Cryin'".

  • @DJFrederickHart yeah I actually did a video about that 2 1/2 years ago

  • What you called "programing" is called creating a set list and my fellow DJs and I have been doing it for a long time.

  • @coolcj15 hmm well, creating a set is HOPEFULLY done by using intellegent programing.

  • @ 10:15 a very touch subject, Going against what the B&G requested NOT to do.

Each event is different and as you touched on what you decide to do is dependant on HOW you decide to do it.

Good vid & of course the songs are subject to change...lol

  • @theRoyal1 I NEVER suggested to go against anyone's wishes, Royal1. I only stated that some B&G say they do not want line dances.

When I have a client like that, when I do my consult, I will find out why songs are on thier don't play list & make suggestions and consult from there.

  • @briansredd @coolcj15 haha as they say on The Office: "boom roasted!" Settle down there coolcj.

  • hahahah " Jedi Mind Tricks " ...." Luke I'm Your DJ! "

  • I keep things very basic. I use iTunes. Using the music selected by the couple I create "Play LIsts". Wedding Activites (First Dance, Money Dance, Cake Cutting, etc.), Wedding Fun Songs (Chicken Dance, Conga, YMCA, etc.), Wedding Dinner Music (Jazz, Classical, Contemporary, Slow Songs, etc.). I also create an agenda which keeps things going smoothly. Great video Brian.

  • we have our wedding coming up this august and we were confused of how our music should go but you have helped us thankyou

  • What is the DJ Tools thing you were talking about could you explain that more and also a link to what that is?

  • @coolcj15 A "set list" is the order in which the DJ's play at an event.

  • Brian I also am a Dj in the milwaukee area and agee with you on this one of the slow songs I start with is for the good times by ray price or the 50's and 60's would be rockin robin. Great Job DJ ScooterG
