Aaaw its lovely to see rabbits get the run of the house rather than being trapped in a hutch all day. They seem so happy.

hi i want a house rabbit that roams around the house. but how much does it cost for a baby bunny??

@HoltonStudios The actual cost of buying a rabbit is not very expensive, however you have to consider the long term costs of keeping one - food, bedding, vets fees, etc. If treated well, rabbits can live for an average of 5–7 years, so it's a big investment. You will also need to be prepared to train your rabbit to live indoors, and to invest in some 'bunny proofing' of your home as rabbits do like to chew a lot! But if you're serious about having one, they are absolutely wonderful pets.

It has been 2 weeks that I have bought two baby rabbits. They are now 10 weeks old. Any advise on how to get them used to being handled? When they are outside their cage, they come and smell me and sometimes put their paws on my legs. However, when I approach my hand to stroke them they run away. What do you recommend?

@AngelLullabye It often just takes time for rabbits to get fully used to you. try offering them little treats (small pieces of banana or apple) and just try to stroke them as they eat them so they start to associate you with nice things....eventually they should start to trust you. good luck!

Rabbits have a completely different charactor when outside of a cage, I wish more people would try it! The house doesn't smell, but you do have to clean out their litter tray regularly, and they do like to spread their hay around everywhere! We did try them outside in the beginning, but they were just very scared, and since our garden is tiled, it wasn't much fun for them. I definitely believe they are happier and safer indoors! And they get a lot more attention from us!!!
