Patriots who are concerned about misguided and dangerous government policies, including excessive taxation and government spending, cap and trade, socialized medicine, and threatened 1st and 2nd amendment rights, met at the steps of the state capitol in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to voice their concerns. What better way to celebrate the Fourth of July than to defend the freedoms that we were granted in our Constitution. July 4, 2009

  • Excellent video! Thank you so much for representing our great BR Tea Party with such a fine piece of work. I know how much time that took you and I admire you for doing it. I hope to see you at the upcoming tax day event. We need to rally more people than ever in these troubled times. I can't believe it has been a year since this Tea Party.......and whoa what a year it has been. The next 3 should be even more interesting! Keep up the good work, my patriot friend!

  • On a scale of 1 - 10 , I give this video Baton Rouge, LA an AWESOME ! ! !

Patriots all across this great Nation are standing up and are representatives have taken notice. There are Patriots in the House and Senate that are (D), (R) and (I) . Take note who they are - e-mail and call them and thank them. For the rest also take note and let them know our National unemployment will go up by them in 2010 ! ! God bless the U.S.A. ! !

Stay united and continue this fight ! !

  • You make one mistake in your sidebar. Our rights were RECOGNIZED in the constitution, not GRANTED.

  • The old USSR, China, N. Korea, and many dictatorial states do not recognize the same rights that we enjoy. The fact that the US Constitution recognizes that we have such rights, combined with the fact that the majority of our elected politicians support constitutional values (all vow to uphold it) means that, in effect, the constitution grants us such rights. I don't see where we disagree by your comment.

  • @rebelbuc I know it seems like just being picky about words but its important to remember that the rights are ours to begin with. We haven't bought them or been entitled to them by law. To say that the government GRANTS us rights is to recognize that the government has the right NOT to grant us those rights. They don't.

As far as the majority of our politicians supporting the constitution...I'm just going to have to flat out disagree with you there.
