Alligator Snappers are the largest freshwater turtle in North America. They capture prey items by opening their mouth and wiggling their tongue to entice fish into swimming right inside. They are endangered due to hunting, predation, and destruction of habitat.

He's not "pissed" at all, he's fishing. The vermiform apparatus on his tongue is designed to look just like a wriggling worm. He'll lie still in the water like that for long amounts of time, until a fish comes a long to eat the "worm," and then- snap!
