My Personal Terrarium i have a Dendrobates auratus (green and black poison dart frog)
its very small look closely :}

Is it necessary to have a pump or filtration system? Can you build a terrarium like this in a glass case with no electricity required?

i've got live plants in my frog terrarium, therefore i've also got mites in my terrarium. apparently i can't hose down the terrarium with excess water. nor can i use soapy water nor miticides because that can kill my frogs. the frogs breathe and rehydrate themselves by exchanging water through their skin, so oil will clog up their pores as well as suffocate them too. what other solution can you think of that is not harmful to the frogs? thank you.

how do you keep your pool from going stagnant do you have a small pump to circulate the water or something i Need to know !!! p.s Nice terrarium i hope to make one like it soon

its sitting on top of gravel that has a screen material over it so the substrate doesn't fall into the gravel

that is so cool! hey what is the best waterfall pump that you would reccommend? i have been stressing it for a while... PLEASE RESPND

the pump i used is by exo terra and i havent encountered any problems with mine, i have it on a very low flow so mosses and such could grow more readily. hope that helped, if have more questions i will be happy to answer : )!
