Fuck what anybody says: This tradition is the best and the way of life. This is the whole religion of the world that never used forceful convertion for anybody. All it does is protecting its people. Forceful convertion I mean, Christianity and Islam are guilt of that. You might not like it anyway, but this is the current anthem now.

NO ME GUSTO PARA NADA
I feel like I need to repeat myself in saying that Orisha appreciate our efforts in representing them. There was NOTHING disrepectful about your performance! You all showed your love for Ocha through dance and song. What could be wrong with that? Don't worry about the comments. If your intent was to be respectful then that's ALL that matters.

Yeah, totally. Thanks for your lovely post. I wasn't referring to your words at all. with all due respect, to you, all of you (except some minor dickheads) and to all living & spiritual things... Merecumbé

Criticism, criticism... you guys haven't really heard of words like 'well-balanced' - 'constructive' or such, have you?! ... I can only repeat myself - many people liked it, many still do, many criticize(d) (constructively)... comments like some below are just no use at all. But thanks anyways. Sandro

Where is Yemaya in this video, I don`t see her. I see a very skinny woman( legend states that Yemaya is a thick woman) doing a bad job of dancing Yemoja`s dance. Yemaya does not live here. One of these days a spirit will come down , and you will not know how to handle it.Only people that are actually practicing orisha should do what you do. Be careful, you are playing with fire.

I cherish your comment and your concern about well-being. You're right about the 'largeliness' of Yemayá (as it is delivered) ... but I haven't seen many performances featuring obese dancers (neither in Cuba [Conjunto Folklorico, ISA, Theatro Nacional] nor elsewhere). Cheerio

Thanks, bro - you're one good critic ;) ... by the way: our leader (the guy who sings) has studying / publishing books on descarga punto com about afro-cuban rhythms and chants for about 30 years ;) ... so it's only us dancers who (partially) suck - and I'm a Salsa / HipHop dancer (and Swiss) ... so: way to go
