Test Drive: 2011 Ford F150 Lariat EcoBoost

For this test drive, we go out in the all new 2011 Ford F150 Lariat, equipped with the new 3.5L EcoBoost Twin Turbo V6. The purpose of the drive is to demonstrate the new EcoBoost engine in varied road conditions. A small portion of the drive also explains the "Torture Test" that Ford put the engine through, before releasing it onto the market.

Love my 2012 4x4 F-150 Lariat w/ Ecoboost.. So far 95% city driving getting around 16 MPG and I like to hit the throttle.. We had a little ice earlier this month and I couldn't get it to slip so I left it in 2WD... Was hoping to test the 4x4 out..

@GrandPrixGTP02 you work for ford? That's awesome! The Crown Victoria (and other Panthers) are my favorite cars. It'd be cool to see a V6 EcoBoost in that car... it's too bad they shut down the STAP. EcoBoost seems to have Great performance and great fuel economy, but also being quiet yet good sounding.
