The area of the left bank is possibly the most stimulating in Paris. The Latin Quarter takes its name from the Latin spoken by students of the Sorbonne until the Revolution. The streets continue to buzz with bookshops, cafes, and jazz clubs.
The Cathedral of Notre-Dame is the "heart" of Paris, both geographically and spiritually. It contains France's largest organ and it was the monument that inspired the "Huntchback of Notre-Dame" by Victor Hugo.
This area is a must see when you are in Paris!

Music:
"Sous le ciel de Paris" by Yves Montand
"Les Cloches de Notre Dame" from the musical "Le Bossu de Notre Dame"

  • Speaking as one who worked in Hollywood for 30 years, the one suggestion I would make is to dub your voice announcements when you are editing, instead of having areas of ambient noise drown your voice out doing it live. You are adding the very appropriate music afterward. Try doing the same for your own voice. ;-)

  • @Grufian

Thank you for your comment, I really

appreciate it! I am learning video editing on the fly

so I love getting tips to improve my videos!

I will definitely do this in the near future,

not with the trip videos because it's too much

work and I am doing them during the trip

when I can. But definitely I will try this next time

    thanks!

  • I have been to Paris many (many) times. The more you visit and longer the stays, the more it truly becomes a great city. You have to live it. Although visiting once is better than never at all.

    Nice vid, Alia! KtC

  • @kooktocook

I agree with you. I have been there so many

times and every time I love it more.

It has a special charm, and the unique shops

    are just amazing.

    I love that city!

  • its my dream to go to paris :'(

  • Paris looks like so much fun. I can't wait. I do some video editing as well. I have training in Final Cut and use Adobe Primiere and Sony Vegas Pro as well. I enjoy the POV strolls down the streets. I think I will get a hotel in the 4th arrondisement area.

  • When did u go alia?

  • 4 some reason Paris looks boring 2 be at. I have never been there and I wish I could. But paris doesn't look amazing. It look like any other town/city 2 me. Just a lot of romance there.
