This song is very good. The chorus melody is not my thing, but the verses are very good. Also the production. The lyrics are very funny.

you've posted on practically every loaded song from her latest album. you should take that energy and put it into a personal letter to donna, instead of bitching about it on YT.. maybe she'll heed some of your rants.

if donna did an album like cher, there wouldnt be only 12 comments on this thread, and a paltry 1800 views, and she would more than likely be celebrating her 10th gold album

Best song from this awesome new CD!!! this song rocks! Donna is just as cool as any contemporary artist today!

This is the song that grabbed me off Crayons. Of course, I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole thing straight through yet, but "Fame (The Game)" is the song that's burrowed into my head.

Very interesting indeep how everyone has some favorites songs from CRAYONS, clear evidence of the quality in this CD. I respect everybody's opinion, but.."Stamp.." and "MR Music" always seems to scape my list of favs. There are too many better good choices, and "Fame.." is one of them. Nice rocking" sounds and funny lyrics makes of this a gem among diamonds. Catwalk anthem baby!

This song also reminds me of Who Do You Think You're Foolin'? (also from The Wanderer-album)because of the lyrics. Both songs are about fame and the foolishnes about it.
Her song COLD LOVE came to mind when I first listened to this song. Donna is eclectic, and she does it so well. GREAT SONG! It also reminds me of David Bowie's FAME.

The more I listen to this CD. I see it as a close sister to her "Wanderer" album. Which is, for me, her best effort behind "Bad Girls". This CD has a good chance of aging well too. Hopefully with radio support.

Interesting. As a die-hard Summer fan, I think the album sucks with the exception of "Mr. Music" and "Stamp Your Feet". "I'm a Fire" is alright, I guess.

Interesting indeed. "Mr Music" has started to grow on me more... but both "Stamp" and "I'm a Fire" tend to get passed over when I'm listening in my car... funny how one die-hard differs from another.

For me, "Stamp Your Feet" or "Mr. Music" are the stand-out tracks. In my opinion, they're way ahead of the pack, in terms of quality. It's unfortunate that she didn't put out a kick-ass video for "Stamp" to boost the 23,000units she sold in her first week, giving her a #17 chart debut on Billboard. To me, this album is every bit as uneven as "Mistaken Identity", though that album yielded my favorite song of her's, "When Love Cries".

Yes, more should be going into the videos to keep interest. Lets hope for the next single(quickly)... I agree "When Love Cries" is among her best. I also put "Body Talk" off that CD as a fave. Otherwise, the majority of that one was forgettable.
