NC House Representative from Distict #116 in Buncombe County attacks his fellow Republican, Dr. CarlMumpower, who is running for the US House seat in the 11th Congressional District in North Carolna on a local "liberatarian-flavored" talk show calle "Take A Stand" tha airs on WWNC-AM in Asheille, NC.
Dr. Carl Mumpower is running against Demcrat Heath Shuler (Hazelwood, NC and Knoxville, TN).

This call took place shortly ater the one and only debate between the two candidates. Congressman Heath Shuler has repeatedly avoided the opportunity to debate Mumpower.

The purpose ofthis video is to preserve he context of Charles Thomas' statemnts in their proper context so they might not be successfully distorted by Thomas, Shuler, Mittan oroters.

  • Yeah, Mumpower is just full of shit!

  • Just throwing out a percentage is a distraction. It's the HOW and WHEN they voted together that should have been driven home.

From all that I saw, Mumpower was not a good candidate at all. Had he been running against a long-time entrenched incumbent like David Price, I wouldn't care. But his disastrous campaign has allowed Shuler to firmly entrench himself, and set himself up as a strong challenger to higher office.

We need to find someone a heck of a lot better next time.
