Choice. I always get this one confused with the one where the skinheads have captured Madonna.

yeah I don't doubt that. Notice also the guy on the left at the title screen looks exactly like Bruce Lee and the other one looks just like Jean Claude Van Damme. Had Bruce lived that long that might've actually been a kinda cool duo for a real movie, with Norris tossed in there somewhere. And then there's Duke Nukem asking you if you're bad enough to rescue President Ronnie lol.

This game was obviously inspired by the 'American Ninja' Movie released in 1985.. (The game was released in 1988 in Arcades) This game lives on through Emulation :)

I forgot how terrible this game was :)

@spockmcqueen being that they made Karate Champ is kinda crazy how they got into that lawsuit for making Fighter's History

I don't know how any of us thought Ninjas were cool in the 80s when in Video Games and movies we would see hordes of them getting their asses kicked.

This was one of the first arcade games I played, about 17 years ago. It was awesome.

@junkboxxxxxx I'm sorry I didn't watch the whole vid, but does he ever kick straight up?
4. Kick the sky (stick up + punch and jump at the same time)

@classof77 Yeah, someone else mentioned it was "Vigilante". That game plays incredibly similar to Kung-Fu Master with updated graphics.

Most original - Burger Time 1983

@spockmcqueen Karate Champ's controls are stiff compared to later fighting games, but it's still one of Data East's most lasting and influential games. And I don't even know how many quarters I put into Burger Time, hah!
