Bottle opener starting to sound strange? Here I will show you how to replace the batteries in my Family Guy talking bottle opener.

First remove the 3 screws on the handle part of the opener, this frees the back cover exposing the guts of the opener, now you'll see 3 button cell batteries inside on the circuit board. The most common batteries are the LR44 type which are the A76 357 type batteries that are used in keychain laser pointers they are the size of altoids mints and the other common type of batteries are the ones that are the size of a button, half the thickness of the LR44 batteries. These two types are the most common. To get at the batteries you'll need to first Bend up the tabs holding the batteries in or cut them off and then remove the screw securing the circuit board to the housing then GENTLY lift it up only enough to get to the batteries. Be careful not to break any of the wires or you'll have to solder them back on. GENTLY push out the batteries from the holders and throw them out or zap them so they pop or whatever. now put your new batteries in + side up, now put the screw back in for the circuit board and then test out the opener. if everything works put the case back on and put the screws in and you are finished. Enjoy your new opener. Thanks for watching.

Depends on your opener. I've seen the ones that are the same size as altoids mints (Don't eat them) and the ones that are half the thickness but the same size around as the altoid ones. You will have to open your opener up and see. Make a video of the inside of yours and I can tell just use the macro mode on your camera (Flower Icon)
