  • I know if you have a non profit charity organization you can get tax exempts.. but I didn't know you can recieve federal funds.

    How much are they getting? And for what? If they were as a collective doing evil then they should get shut down, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

  • ACORN is a collection of community based organizations. They have 400,000 members. They are people who congregate and decide how to improve their community and then they go do it. They claim to have helped 2000 displaced katrina families. Honestly I am not surprised they sometimes do illegal activities. They are not lawyers; they are random John Does trying to figure things out. It's not hard to conceal a source and woopsie break money laundering laws.

  • Thank goodness that the Census Bureau terminated their relationship with the criminal enterprise ACORN. I'm so glad that Congressman Steve King is outspoken about ACORN's corruption.
