This is a demonstration of how any system can be hacked to allow the attacker to access the administrator account without the need for the password.

I first of all boot the virtual machine normally, then log into the admin account that requires a password. I place a document on the desktop, then restart the machine.

I now select the Kon-Boot cd image (http://www.piotrbania.com/all/kon-boot/) and boot from that. This hacks the BIOS and allows a patch to run in memory that bypasses the need for a password. Windows is then booted, then allows me to log into the admin account and read the file details on the desktop.

I have tested with Windows XP but this is reported to work with XP, Vista and Windows 7. This is a warning video to everybody about how easy it is to break into a PC if you are in front of it.

  • nice you are using windows in windows :S makes sense

  • @MrSderman you obviously know shit about computers.

  • Did you use the paid version of konboot and does konboot erase or change the password after you use it ? For exmple if in a session i use the cd to bypass the password , in the next one , without konboot will i have to enter the password?

  • @Andrei95Ro There is no paid version of konboot. Anyway, if you use Konboot to boot into the admin account, you can then create a new account with admin rights, or change a limited account to admin. This will not work for network accounts.

  • @Andrei95Ro Konboot will not remove the password. it will log in without the need for the password.

  • but will this delete the password?

  • @orlandocv5 This isnt designed to remove the password but bypass the security without being noticed, if you want to remove the password, find Hirens and use the Offline NT password remover.

  • @IamMRUCANTCME No, virus software warns you that it is a program than can be used maliciously. Learn the difference.

  • @MrNanadude18 Yes it is you dipshit. Download konboot, burn to cd, boot from CD, bypass password - how much more simpler could this be?

  • can you recover the password so you need to use the password to get in after you have used the cd

  • when using kon-boot as the pw for the extraction of the file from the link, it only extracts 1.0, and the fd versions of 1.1, not the iso needed for the cd...

  • anyone know a link with kon-boot 1.1 iso? 1.1 is locked in that link

  • @ChuckBleedinNorris u mad? i was just joking ;)
