Wow this is really interesting. I think it's cool he uses a straight-up 1958 Les Paul reissue. Those are outstanding guitars. Just like the 57's, and just like the 59s. Alex Lifeson is a beast on guitar!

That first guitar he showed is a nice one.

@Spazmaztic youth is no excuse for having not seen Spinal Tap. It's a prerequisite for anyone who wants to play any instrument anywhere in the world. Death, taxes, and Spinal Tap.

I really wanted to hear about the PRS guitars he uses...

I sure as hell didn't need to sit through a minute-long political ad to see this. Guitarist magazine are douchebags.

@JackBlair2 where does he say that?!
Don't touch it, don;t point at it - don't even look at it -- ok, you've seen enough of this one...

LOL. He shows us a dozen custom vintage guitars, 8 full stacks, a monster size switching board and a rack with 20 different electronic modules and he states "...it's really straight forward'. WTF? No, Alex. Stright forward is Angus Young. A Gibson SG plugged straight into an amp. THAT, my friend is the definition of straight forward! Great musician, I love Rush.
