Overview and the initial character set up........

Over this series I will create several characters, anims and animtrees...
I may make two variations on the game, one in a cartoon like world and the other more realistic.
One will be be for children and the other for adults.........

  • @lexluthornumber1 So sorry! So sorry for having you answer repeated dumb questions. Got it, found it. Thank you!

The mobile editor was integrated into the normal editor in June 2011 so there's just a single editor now!

Watch this video on my channel 'UDK June 2011 build Integrated Mobile and PC Editors Tech guide.wmv '

  • @lexluthornumber1 Hey there! I am maybe overlooking something somewhere, but i still cant find the explanation on how to do this part (MobileGame folder disappearance and how to deal with it). Any chance it is hidden somewhere? Thx for the great tutorials BTW!

  • @coolguythatrocks

Just add a plus edit packages in your DefautEngine.INI for your mobile and PC classes combined or separate if you want, like this

    [UnrealEd.EditorEngine]

    +EditPackages=UTGame

    +EditPackages=UTGameContent

    +EditPackages=YourClassFolderNameHere

UDK June 2011 build Integrated Mobile and PC Editors Tech guide.wmv

  • @lexluthornumber1 i have the june beta version with ios support but i dont actually remember there being a MobileGame folder. And also, in the newer versions of udk, there is no MobileGame folder in the udk directory with the defaultengine.ini, so i was wondering where i could find that now

  • @coolguythatrocks

That sounds OK....Where were you mobile classes stored in the original build you lost them from?

Did you have your own class folder?

  • Over series of events too long to put in this, i lost the MobileGame Folder but i still have the three files. So anyway i was just wondering if i still needed the original folder to make this mobile game. Also, in the three files (for example LesPawn) the only thing that needs to be said in their is 'Class LexPawn extends GamePawn', right? Same with LexPC only saying "Class LexPC extends GamePlayerController'. please answer
