Renee James grew up in the Silicon Valley and today she leads Intel's Software and Services Group, what some call "The softer side of Intel" since Intel is typically known as a chipmaker, which falls more on the hardware side of technology. Renee tells how she sees technology changing our lives, from the days when computers didn't play audio to today's social media and networking-rich Internet experiences we get through our computers. She was once the Technical Assistant to Andy Grove, and since then she has been a mentor to many inside Intel.
Renee is a remarkable example of an incredibly intelligent, talented and successful woman who manages to have both an amazing career and a family. She has the ability to be a go-getter in the boardroom, and then to come home and be a great mom to her two fabulous kids. She is an inspiration to all of us and a true "super-woman"!

It is important for any business to recognize talent, whether it's a man or a woman. Your people are your business.
