Lamb (Barbara Mauritz & Bob Swanson): Adventures of the incredible & Traveler's observation (1969 1st LP) The wish (1971 3de LP)) a San Fransisco group managed by Bill Graham made 3 albums from '69 - '72. In hindsight one of the artistic highlights of the era. Mixing jazz, folk, singer/songwriter pop, gospel, classical, and avant-garde styles they were uncomprimising, experimental, lyrical and intriguing. They couldn't be easily classified, typical the kind of group Bill Graham loved promoting to enriche his audiences. at http://witchseason.blogspot.com/2007/05/big-thanks-to-mike-gilbert.html you can download their albums, at http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/dt/lamb-concert/1662-3954.html you can find a recording of a 1971 concert. www.wolfgangsvault.com is the (free membership& stuff you can buy) internet legacy of Bill, Wolodia, or Wolfgang in German. Most people remember Lamb from: Fillmore: The last days (CD&video) The DVD will come out june 2009 it will contain two songs of them
Y'know? This is reasonably close to the way I remember it all playing out. Thank you for posting this up.
Also, I've wondered for years what happened to Barbara Mauritz. She was something special. So sorry to hear about her boy. There's NOTHING harder to bear.

I used to play opposite Lamb with my blues band The Dusters in San Mateo CA in '69. Barbara made a big impression on me; despite being married at the time I developed a huge crush on her. I later met her in a cab in '91 and told her about it!
