Lovely kitty. I have one who desembles him I was given information that he was at Animal Control and went up and adopted him. I have had Siamese since I was a child. This little one is sweet and extremely bright. He is also mama's boy!

Interesting, JD. You just might be right.. I just looked at some pictures of lynx-point siamese cats, and that does look like him. I'd never heard of that breed before. Thanks for the info.

We didn't find him, but one of the cat rescue agencies found him as a tiny kitten with his litter-mates, and we adopted him. Why?

Okay, it looks like Smoky will be on Episode 2 of Cats 101 on Animal Planet which is on December 13, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time. That's when they are featuring the Siamese, as well the Himalayan, the Maine Coon and others. Repeats of Episode 1 are also shown that night, so check your tv listings. If he made the final cut, you should see a clip from the above video. If you miss it, it will probably be repeated.

Smoky will be on Animal Planet either Dec 6 or 13, 2008. It's on a show called Cats 101. As someone pointed out, he is a cross between a Blue Point Siamese and a Tabby. He's still cross-eyed, which is more apparent when he's tired. He's a true joy, with lots of energy.
