GOSS METRO AND TKS COLOR TOWER PRESS OPERATION

Newspaper is a dying industry This WAS a GOOD union shop. GCIU 767m UNTIL the review hired zinser law to bust us up. Five union Journeymen and 1 Apprentice lost their jobs after dayshift was eliminated. nearly 50% of the remaining pressmen are non union.

The video was good. However I would like to comment here that when u install machines,u have to ensure that d operational staff at your client's place is competent enough.Times of india mumbai does not have skilled staff to operate your metroliner hence they messed-up the operations

Our circulation continues to decline as well as advertising. We're down to 1 press running two days a week and two press run the other 5 days. Won't be long before I'm unemployed, again. I do love printing, but not the parent company that owns the paper now.

Thanks for posting this video. The Goss Metro has always been a very solid reliable press. There are still many of these presses in action. In fact there is a Metro Users group that meets annually.
