Are you sure this is from 1940?!
-
@GEWildcatRocks So do I.

In addition the clip from "Fantasia" where he introduced the soundtrack, I have the LP that I got at Goodwill yesterday, and it's another stereo demonstration record on the Project 3 label and it's a stereo test record. This is even way better compared to the "Soundtrack" part used in "Fantasia". It was produced by Enoch Light, and this was the album where you can test the balance of your stereo including high & low frequencies and many others. It had the orchestra part on the other side.

@tscastro114 But when it was released on Blu-Ray last year, it went back to the Vault again. I have this film on Blu-Ray with "Fantasia 2000".

"Every beautiful sound also creates an equally beautiful image."
This is the rule I've lived by ever since i first watched the movie at age 2. I'm 18 now and I've played lead electric guitar since my sophmore year.
I can't stand today's music(rap, pop, R&B) because it truly is a sound with no image to it. You can't just slap some bland lyrics to a generic beat and call it music. You seriously have to have that visual inspiration and that raw power of a real instrument to make it true music.

@MewYuki23 The bassoon scared me too! But I like its sound now. Planning to learn how to play it soon hopefully, lol

HEY
THAT'S NOT DEANS TYLER'S VOICE
AT LEAST THE LASERDISC AND VHS OF THIS HAS HIS VOICE
-
I agree! His voice seemed to fit better for some odd reason.
-
that's wild! I was wondering why he sounded different! I liked the original better also!
