I've been to several steel guitar conventions and I find very refreshing to hear someone like "Reese" play some jazz standards. Don't get me wrong the country tunes are nice, but after hearing Farewell Party and other 3 cord tunes all day, I welcome the jazz.

If Reece was a northern boy, he would have played places like The Five Spot, the Village Vanguard and the Village Gate. His sense of jazz is remarkable. He could easily share the stage with someone like Sonny Rollins. Reece is simplythe best at what he does, and he makes it seem sooooo easy!
