wow, this line has come a long way...still very dirty and sloppy...but wow, nice to see them growing and getting good instruction...on a side note, the early 80's tuning scheme in tenors and basses is sort of cool...must fit well within into the show concepts and brass balance.
it doesn't mater weather or not it is a drumline feature, it is just whether or not the music lacks meat making it more difficult and harder to hang on to and making there a broader interpretation for error.
All the books I've played were written either by Scott Johnson or Paul Rennick so I know that songs that don't feature percussion can have so shit in it!
This is really great, but I haven't found any videos of the hornline yet. For next year, we should have somebody with a video camera on tour and make some kind of "In The Lot" video for the entire corps.
when did Cru4You or I say that it wasnt musical, I'm sure it fit in fine but what we are trying to say is that if there had been some more meat in all of the book, it would have made playing it clean a little easier since it would challenge the members to play in time and with good technique, when it is too easy, people tend to rush or slowdown and cleanliness gets lost in the balance
07 Raiders from Wayne NJ, so it's the same group but this is a year prior.

I personally loved the drum book from last year.
It really fit well with the rest of the music, especially in the opener, I think. I can't wait to hear the book this year!

Trust me, it fits really nicely with the hornline and pit.
