@fforrett Hospitals and schools are businesses, period. If the church doesn't want to follow the laws covering ALL employees and employers, they need to get out of those businesses.

Schools and Hospitals are the church's outreach and ministry; a call to teach, love, heal.

They are not making automobiles. They are not selling you widgets from their factories.

soup kitchens are not businesses, adoption services, anti human trafficking services. prison ministries etc.. are not businesses. All of these the administration has been attacking.

ALL the students in school start the day with PRAYER! Catholic Hospitals have religions symbols and priests ministering. They have chapels on site. It is a ministry that serves all with both spiritual and physical healing.

The Catholic Church declared the war you opposed as "unjust" If you don't support them, you may be protesting the war by yourself.

@mitchlane82 No, it's about religious organizations trying to skirt Federal laws. If a religious organization has a business, like a school or hospital, with employees they have to follow ALL the government regulations pertaining to employees. The church trying to supersede the government is what is unconstitutional. I'm against all wars and have protested for years, but my tax money is used for war.Tax payers cannot choose where their tax money goes.

@geezusispan This isn't about Churches or some sort of religious doctrine - this is about the Fed Government infringing upon the rights of all peoples of faith/conscience (this includes churches but is not limited to them) The 1st Amendment guarantees Freedom of Religion to all citizens of the US - by forcing Americans to pay for/support something they believe are morally evil is unconstitutional.

Churches have the right to preach about immoralities of using birth control but they cannot decide for a woman that she will not receive contraceptives. That is nonsense in many ways to think that you can tell someone what to do. People are always going to do what they want and Obama is helping everyone achieve his or her religious freedom.
